Peer support service for severe mental disorders is a low-cost， effective and multi-beneficiary rehabilitation method， which meets the needs of the development of mental illness service model. This article introduces the situation of peer support for patients with severe mental disorders in Chaoyang District community of Beijing， and explores ways to promote peer support at the community level.
