Abstract:Transcranial magnetic stimulation( TMS) has been widely used in psychiatry since its introduction. In addition to its application in depression and schizophrenia, it also plays an increasingly important role in the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorder( ASD). This paper summarizes the latest literature on the application of TMS in ASD research., with generalizing the research hypothesis, relevant research results and future research directions in the fields of clinical intervention and scientific research respectively, to provide reference for better application of this technique in the treatment of ASD.
