Schizophrenia is a psychiatric disease with high recurrence rate， high disability rate and high disease burden. Reasonable and effective rehabilitation treatment is the key to reduce the recurrence rate， disability rate， and burden of disease for schizophrenia patients. It is also an important factor affecting the prognosis of patients. Painting therapy is often used in the rehabilitation of patients with schizophrenia. This paper reviews the application of painting therapy in schizophrenia.
