    Abstract:

Atypical antipsychotics( AAP) may cause restless legs syndrome( RLS). There is very little research on this, only a few cases/ series of reports have been reported. Psychiatrists do not know enough about it. This article reviews the literatures to explore the clinical characteristics, pathophysiological mechanism and treatment of RLS caused by AAP.
