Suicide has been listed as the fifth cause of death. Patients who have been stricken with mental diseases are making up a higher proportion to the suicide population. Therefore， suicide risk evaluation among such population is of vital importance to safeguarding the security of patients. Comprehensive introductions to suicide risk evaluation tools for patients with mental diseases were made in the paper.
