In recent years， electroconvulsive therapy， one of the important means of the treatment of depression， not only significantly improve symptoms， but also affect the cognitive function of patients to some extent. This paper discusses the potential mechanisms of cognitive dysfunction after electroconvulsive therapy based on the results of animal studies and clinical studies.
