Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of different stimulus parameters of repetitive magnet-ic stimulation on the expression of endocannabinoid system-related genes,including cannabinoid receptor 1(CB1R),diacylglycerol(DAGL),fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH)and monoacylglycerol (MAGL)in cultured mice astrocytes. Methods The astrocytes were isolated from the brain of newborn mice. After 7-10 d culture,the cells were purified and then treated with repeatitive magnetic stimulation with different stimulus parameters orcontrol treatment. The magnetic stimulation group was divided into four groups:(1 Hz + 0.86T,1 Hz + 1.24 T, 5 Hz + 0.86 T)and(5 Hz + 1.24 T),which represented the stimulation including the magnetic frequency of 1 Hz or 5 Hz and the intensity of 0.86 or 1.24 Tesla. The control cells were placed in the same environment but 20 cm away from the magnetic field of the repeated magnetic stimulation group,and the magnetic field strength could not be detected. After the intervention,total mRNA and protein were extracted from the cells and the expression changes of CB1R,DAGL,FAAH and MAGL were detected. Results Compared with the control group,the expression levels of CB1R,MAGL and FAAH genes of astrocytes were significantly up-regulated when the cells were stimulated with (5 Hz + 0.86 T)magnetic stimulation. Meanwhile,the expression of FAAH gene were also up-regulated when the cells was stimulated with magnetic stimulation at (5 Hz + 1.24 T). However,there was no significant difference on the expression of DAGL between each group. Conclusions The effects of repeatitivemagnetic stimulation of different parameters repeatitive magnetic stimulation induced different influence on the expression of endocannabinoid system-related gene in astrocytes,which might be involved in its different thera-peutic effects induced by different parameters.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and diagnosis and treatment situation of patients using amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS)in voluntary rehabilitation hospital. Methods The medical record of hospitalized ATS users in voluntary rehabilitation hospital in Shanghai was retrospectively investigated,in-cluding their drug use history,clinical characteristic,diagnosis,treatment and prognosis. Results Two hundred and sixty six hospitalized ATS users were recruited. Male patients had significantly higher proportion of marriage and lowerproportion of previously using other substance than female patients (P<0.05). 50% of ATS subjects experienced the symptoms of hallucination,delusion,agitation,irritability,sleeping disorders and so on. 81.2% of subjects were diagnosed by ATS induced psychotic disorder. After about 10 d of hospitalization,the symptoms of 95.8% sub-jects could get obviously improved and were discharged from hospital. Conclusions The hospitalized ATS users showed high proportion of psychiatric symptoms,and there is gender difference in clinical characteristic features and substance use. Using the tailored intervention and increasing the attendance rate could improve the long-term rehabilitation for ATS patients.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of exposure in fetus and infancy on serum uric acid levels and the prevalence of hyperuricemia in adults. Methods Totals of 996 workers from Kailuan Group and Shijiazhuang steelworks were included. All subjects were divided into 3 groups:fetal exposure group (n=326),infancyexposure group (n=307)and control group (n=333)according to their earthquake exposure. Subjects in fetal exposure group were further divided into 3 subgroups:1-3 months fetal exposure group,4-6 months fetal exposure group and 7-9 months fetal exposure group. The levels of uric acid and incidence of hyperuricemia were compared among three groups. General baseline data were compared between hyperuricemia group and non-hyperuricemia group. While hy-peruricemia was ependent variable,contemporary body mass index(BMI),smoking,drinking,hypertension,diabetes mellitus,education,marital status,high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol( LDL-C),Triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC)were independent variables,logistic regression analysis was ana-lyzed. Results Compared with the control group,fetal exposure group and infancy exposure group showed signifi-cantly elevated serum uric acid (F=15.810,P< 0.01). Incidence of hyperuricemia was significantly different among three groups (χ2=20.628,P<0.01). Fetal exposure group and infancy exposure group had significantly higher inci-dence of hyperuricemia than control group. And fetal exposure group had higher incidence of hyperuricemia than in-fancy exposure group. No significant differences were found in levels of uric acid and incidence of hyperuricemia among three subgroups in fetal exposure group (P> 0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that fetal and infancy earth-quake exposure were risk factors of hyperuricemia (OR=2.895,95%CI=1.652-5.075;OR=1.882,95%CI=1.044-3.394). Conclusions Early earthquake stress experience is an important risk factor of adulthood high uric acid levels and hyperuricemia,especially pregnancy earthquake stress experience.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the long term effects on sleep quality of the people who had relatives died in earthquake before and after birth. Methods Totals of 330 subjects who lived in Tangshan and had experienced Tangshan earthquake before and after birth on July 28,1976 were included. All of them were investigated with general demographic information,number of relatives died in earthquake,PittsburghSleep Quality Index(PSQI), Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS) and Childhood Trauma Questionnaire(CTQ) after 40 years of the earthquake. Results The prevalence of low sleep quality in all sunbjects was 12.6% (39/309) The prevalence of low sleep quality was higher in subjects who lost relatives in earthquake (17.6% v.s. 8.1%,. χ2=6.199,P=0.013). Significant differences were found on scores of emotional abuse in childhood and utiliza-tion of social support between subjects in normal sleep group and low quality sleep group (Z=-2.087,-2.551;P<0.05). Logistic analysis showed that bereavement in earthquake was risk factor of low sleep quality (OR=2.293,95%CI: 1.115-4.714). Conclusions Bereavement in earthquake before and after birth is risk factor of low sleep quality in adults.

Abstract:Objective To explore the role of pro-inflammatory factors in the pathogenesis of schizo-phrenia by analyzing the relationship between clinical traits and pro-inflammatory factors in acute episode patients with schizophrenia. Methods A total of 105 acute-episode schizophrenic patients (patient group)and 50 healthy controls (control group)were enrolled in this study. We detected the serum concentrations of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α of all subjects with enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay (ELISA). The Positive and Negative Symptom Scale(PANSS)was used to assess the psychiatric symptoms of patients. The serum levels of pro-inflammatory factors between two groups were compared. And the relationship between pro-inflammatory factors and clinical trait was evaluated. Results (1)Compared with control group,the serum concentrations of IL-β and TNF-α were signifi-cant lower in patient group [12.3(2.8,15.0)ng/L vs 7.9(1.3,9.9)ng/L,151.6(58.9,186.8)ng/L vs 108.9 (37.0,132.3)ng/L, P< 0.05].(2)After stratification,we analyzed the effects of sex,attack times,duration of illness,family history, and psychiatric symptoms on IL-β,TNF-α and IL-6. Compared with relapsed patients, first-episode schizophrenic patients had significant higher levels of IL-1β and TNF-α. Patients with duration of illness more than 5 years expe-rienced significant higher concentrations of IL-6 and TNF-α,as compared to those with less than 5 years’duration. Serum level of IL-6 in patients with positive family history and that of TNF-α in patients with significant positive symptoms were higher than their counterparts separately (P<0.05)(. 3)In patient group,serum level of IL-β showed significant positive correlation with that of IL-6 (r=0.49,P<0.01)and TNF-α( r=0.30,P<0.01). And in control group,serum level of IL-β also showed significant positive correlation with that of IL-6 (r=0.55,P< 0.01)and TNF-α( r=0.34,P=0.02). Conclusions Immune activation is experienced in acute-episode schizophrenic pa-tients. The degree of immune activation is associated with patients’clinical traits. Immune abnormality might be involved in the pathogenesis of schizophrenia.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of high-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)on elderly patients with depression and mild cognitive impairment. Methods Totals of elderly 48 patients with depression and mild cognitive impairment were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. Four weeks of 20 Hz rTMS was conducted in experimental group. Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE)and event-related potentials P300 were examed before treat-ment,after treatment and after 3 months. Results After treatment and after 3 months,HAMD scores of exper-imental group were significantly lower than that of control group (t=-3.711,P=0.001;t=-3.978,P<0.01),while MMSE scores were significantly higher than that of control group (t=2.705,P=0.01;t=2.934,P=0.006). After treatment and after 3 months,amplitude of P300 on Fz and Cz was significantly larger (P< 0.01),while latency of P300 was significantly shorter in experimental group than that of control group(P<0.05). Conclusions Highfrequency rTMS could improve depressive emotion and cognitive function in elderly patients with depression and mild cognitive impairment.

Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of neural stem cells(NSCs)supernatants on bone mar-row derived-macrophage,in order to provide new ideas for therapy. Methods Mouse bone marrow macrophage were treated with NSCs supernatant for 3 d. SRB assay was used to detect the proliferation of macrophage. Thephagocytosis of macrophage were detected by oil red staining after adding myelin for 24 h. Meanwhile,the expression of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 in the macrophage supernatant were detected by ELISA kit. Results Macrophagewere obtained after bone marrow-derived cells cultured in the medium containing L929 supernatant for 7 d. Re-spectively,macrophage proliferation rate of NSCs medium group,NSCs supernatant and ESC-NSCs superatant group was(100±1.2)%,(135±2.1)% and (132±3.4)%. Oil red percentage of positive cells was (50.7±4.5)%,(92.2±3.7)% and (89.5±4.3)% respectively. Compared to NSCs medium group,the levels of IL-6 and IL-10 in macrophage treated with NSCs and ESC-NSCs supernatant significantly increased,and the expression of TNF-α significantly decreased (P< 0.05). Conclusions Both primary NSCs supernatant and ESC-derivedNSCs supernatant could promote the proliferation and phagocytosis of bone marrow macrophage.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of olanzapine combined with haloperidol inthe treatment of manic psychosis after traumatic brain injury. Methods Totals of 60 manic patients after trau-matic brain injury treated with olanzapine combined haloperidol were selected from the First People’s Hospital of Xinxiang in June 2015 to December 2016. In the same period,60 patients with mania after brain trauma treat-ed with olanzapine were enrolled as control group. Patients in two groups were treated continuously for 4 weeks. All patients underwent B-R Mania Scale (BRMS)and clinical efficacy total score (CGI-SI)before and after treat-ment for 2 weeks and 4 weeks.The effect of treatment was assessed by the reduction rate of BRMS score and the CCI-SI score after 4 weeks. The adverse reactions in two groups were observed. Results The total effective rate and cure rate of the study group were significantly higher than that of the control group (P< 0.05). There was no significant difference in the BRMS score and CGI-SI score between two groups before treatment (P> 0.05). The BRMS score and CGI-SI score of the study group and control group decreased significantly compared with priortratment(P<0.05). After treatment,the BRMS score and CGI-SI score of study group were significantly lower than that of control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions such as dry mouth,tremor,blurred vision,dizziness and headache between two groups (P> 0.05). Conclusions Olanzapinecombined with haloperidol is effective and has quick onset in the treatment of manic psychosis after traumaticbrain injury. It is worthy of popularization and application.
