Abstract:Objective To test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version Psychiatric Anger Rating Scale( PARS). Methods With the consent of the original author, English version PARS was translated into Chinese. PARS contains 41 items. A total of 125 psychosis from Shanghai Mental Health Center were collected to evaluate with PARS. Cronbach's α was applied to measure internal consistency reliability, Guttman Split-Half to measure Split-Half reliability. The correlation coefficient between each item and total score was calculated. Exploratory factor was used to analyze and test the construct validity of PARS. Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore associated validity between PARS and Positive and Negative Symptom Scale (PANSS). Results Cronbach's α was 0.89. Guttman Split-Half was 0.88. Correlation coefficient between each item and total score was from 0.19 to 0.72( P<0.05). Exploratory factor analysis yielded 9 factors, accounting for 67% of the total variance. There was a significant correlation between PARS and item-G14 of the PANSS( lack of anger control)( r=0.54,P<0.05). Conclusions Chinese version PARS has a good reliability and validity, which can be used to study anger symptoms in Chinese psychotics.

Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of concurrent radiochemotherapy on peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets in patients with glioma, so as to provide immunological indicators for the treatment of glioma. Methods A total of 150 patients with glioma admitted to the glioma department of Beijing Shijitan Hospital from January 2015 to December 2017 were recruited into the glioma group, and the other 150 healthy people who undertook health examination in the health examination center were assigned into the control group. The content of T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of healthy control group and glioma patients before and after concurrent chemoradiotherapy were determined by fluorescence- activated cell sorter( FACS). Results The results showed that there was no statistical significance in the difference of CD3+ in peripheral blood of patients between the two groups before treatment( P>0.05). with glioma was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). The mean CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ were significantly lower than those in healthy controls. The mean CD8+ was significantly higher than the healthy control group. The difference was statistically significant( P < 0.05). The mean CD3+, mean CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ of glioma patients before concurrent chemoradiotherapy were significantly higher than those after concurrent chemoradiotherapy, and the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05). The mean value of CD8+ was significantly increased after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05). Conclusions The immune function of patients with glioma is decreased. The defection in immune function after concurrent chemoradiotherapy is more obvious. Peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets can be used as an immunological reference index for clinical evaluation of glioma concurrent chemoradiotherapy.

      2018, 18(9):632-636. DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1009-6574.2018.09.008

      Abstract (5248) HTML (0) PDF 462.79 K (6187) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Objective To explore the relationship between family environment, coping style and anxiety and depression, and the mediating mechanism of coping style in the process of family environment affecting anxiety and depression. Methods A total of 1 950 freshmen from a university in Daqing were investigated with Family Environment Scale and Simple Coping Style Questionnaire, Self-rating Anxiety Scale and Self-rating Depression Scale. Results Among 1 902 recycled questionnaires, there were 1 846 valid questionnaires, with an effective rate of 94.67%. In all the students, there were 471 male( 24.15%) and 1 432 female( 73.44%). Compared with male, female freshmen scored higher in emotional expression, conflict, success, organization, control dimension and positive coping( P<0.05). All dimensions of family environment were significantly correlated with coping styles, anxiety and depression scores( P < 0.01). The influence of family environment on freshmen's anxiety and depression was partially mediated. Chi square freedom ratio (χ2/df) was 23.158 and 16.252; Goodness of fit index( GFI) was 0.947 and 0.960; Adjusted goodness of fit index( AGFI) was 0.893 and 0.921; Root mean square error approximation( RMSEA) was 0.108 and 0.090. It is suggested that the fitting degree of the two models was ideal. Conclusions Family environment and coping style are significantly related to anxiety and depression. Family function can directly affect freshmen's anxiety and depression, and can also indirectly affect anxiety and depression through coping style. It is suggested that attention should be paid to the guidance and correction of college students' coping styles, which is of great significance to the psychological health of college students.

      2018, 18(9):646-649. DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1009-6574.2018.09.011

      Abstract (8346) HTML (0) PDF 340.36 K (6302) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of olanzapine on serum vascular endothelial growth factor( sVEGF) levels in first-episode schizophrenic patients and its relationship with clinical efficacy. Methods A total of 40 first-episode schizophrenic patients( patients group) were enrolled in the study. They were treated with olanzapine only for 4 weeks. The psychiatric symptoms were estimated using the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale( PANSS). sVEGF levels were determined in patients and 40 normal controls( normal group) using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA). Results Before treatment, the sVEGF levels in the patient group was( 331.8±80.1) pg/ml, which were significantly lower than that in the normal group (506.1±211.5) pg/ml. The sVEGF level after taking drug was( 475.7±128.5) pg/ml, which was higher than before, and the difference was statistically significant( t=6.489,P < 0.05). However there was no significant difference when compared with the control group( P> 0.05). The PANSS score of the patients was lower than that of the patients before treatment, and PANSS reductive ratio was positively correlated with sVEGF changes (r=0.439, P=0.005). Conclusions It is suggested that sVEGF may be an suitable biomarker for schizophrenia. Effective antipsychotic drugs can increase the sVEGF level and the change of sVEGF may be a correlation index of the antipsychotic drugs efficiency.
